Practice Schedule Changes

  • Tuesday 7/8 - Senior Hawgs will not have afternoon practice. No changes to other groups.
  • Wednesday 7/9 - Senior Hawgs will not have morning practice. No changes to other groups.
  • Thursday 7/10 - Senior Hawgs and Senior Prep will have morning practice from 6:30-7:30 AM and no afternoon practices. No changes to other groups.
  • Friday 7/11 - Senior Hawgs, Senior Prep, Senior Swim Fit, and Junior Hawgs will practice from 7:00-8:30 AM.  Those competing at the Ragnarok on Friday should not attend morning practice.
  • Saturday 7/12 - Senior Hawgs and Senior Prep will practice from 7:30-9:30 AM.  Masters will practice from 7:30-8:30 AM.  All other practices are canceled due to the Ragnarok.

Safe Sport – Athlete Protection Training

USA Swimming Safe Sport offers an Athlete Protection Course for Swimmers, Coaches, Parents, and Officials.  In order for the AquaHawgs to maintain our status as a Safe Sport Recognized Club, we need parents and swimmers to participate in this course.  If you took this course previously, it does expire every year.  Please go to USA Swimming Learn to complete this course or check your status.  We need swimmers and parents to take this course by Thursday, May 17.

Arkansas Long Course Championships

We will be hosting the Arkansas Long Course Championships in Fort Smith this year.  We have posted registration on our website.  We need all swimmers planning on attending to declare by Wednesday, July 9.  We have created an Eligibility Report to see if your swimmer is qualified for the meet.  We will be able to add new swimmers and events for those that qualify at the Ragnarok.

State Meet Breakfast

We will have our Annual State Team Breakfast on Thursday, July 17.  We will hand out state team shirts and goodie bags at this event.  We will provide more specifics in next week’s Monday Message.

Region VIII Summer Sectionals

The AquaHawgs will be well represented in Columbia, MO at Summer Sectionals.  Racing will begin on Wednesday, July 9.  Follow along on Meet Mobile and Instagram.  Attendees should reference Coach Mo’s email.

The Ragnarok

We are excited to attend the Ragnarok in Joplin, MO this weekend.  We will share specific information on the meet once it is finalized.
